Levbarg receives North Carolina Public Health Association Citation of Merit
Teme Levbarg, MSW, PhD, continuing education specialist with the North Carolina Institute for Public Health, received the NCPHA Citation of Merit award at the 2008 North Carolina Public Health Association Conference, September 25, 2008, in New Bern, North Carolina. The Citation of Merit is conferred upon individual members of NCPHA who, by long years of noteworthy service or by lustrous enterprise within the recent past, have singularly advanced public health in the Tar Heel State. Dr. Levbarg has been with the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health since 1985 and works closely with CETAC to design and deliver training for public health social work practitioners.
